Concise Fundraising for St. Jude

Project Takeaways:

My work with the Web Experience team allowed me to experience Agile in action.

It was difficult to write the test-tasks in an immersive way for our users, but it’s very important to try to set the stage to get more genuine reactions.

Crafting my own tiered system of data analysis ended up having unexpected benefits for both for myself and my team. It allowed for selective deep-dives.

I had not expected any of our users to be “offended” by the content of these pages. Where my other St. Jude projects were more focused on functionality this was an unexpected matter of palatability, and it drove home the importance of the testing phase.

Not all content will appeal to every user, but a designer might be able to layer content strategically to appeal to the majority.
